Went to Famous Tate on East Bay Drive in Largo ( formerly APSCO) to find a washing machine and dryer. Salesman showed my wife and I some LG floor models that where marked at a reduced price.

After several minutes of discussion we told salesman we were going to purchase this washing machine and dryer. We started the paperwork for the transaction when salesman got up and excused himself. Five minutes later he came back and announced that the floor models we were going to buy were sold. In addition no other same models were available at any other stores.

At this point we got up and left.Itmis obvious that this was a bait and switch ploy.

Why were these units still on the floor and still marked with sale prices if they were already sold?

Done ever doing business with “Infamous Tate’s” sure wish APSCO was still in business never any problems. Bye bye Tate

So sorry to hear about your experience in our showroom! The LG washer & dryer models were on closeout off of our showroom floors, but they are still available to order as new products.

It was our fault for not having the washer tagged as sold when you came in...our buyers may not have communicated this to the store staff in time. The washer (WT7200CW) will be on sale for only $598.88 for July 4th, so we'd be happy to order that for you...and pair it up with one of the matching dryers we have on closeout for even less.

Please call Jeff in our Largo showroom to take advantage of this...or respond to this message. Again, we are sorry for your experience and the miscommunication.
